Buildautomaton
Buildautomaton is the blank surface and the work queue behind it. It lives in @buildautomaton/plugins as several plugins, and coreSet() installs them.
You describe a problem, or the solution you want. An agent picks that up, builds it from open source components, and comes back with a summary. You review that in the sidebar widget, answer questions, and queue follow-ups. The agents and models are whichever ones you hook up.
It plugs into both runtimes:
- Runtime plugins — queue, artifacts, tools, widget HTTP
- UI plugins — the prompt screen and the sidebar widget
Local CLI (app mode) and UI already compose those plugins.
flowchart LR ask("ask what to build") queue("work queue") agent("agent builds") tell("tell what was built") review("you review in the widget") ask --> queue queue --> agent agent --> tell tell --> review review --> ask
The local CLI opens a blank screen with a prompt. Submitting it morphs that screen into the app, with the runtime as the backend. The widget stays in the sidebar.
